We applied WebAR technology to digitally reconstruct the murals, allowing visitors to experience them in their original splendor. The concept combined cultural preservation with an innovative, accessible mobile format.
The Ermita de Viladecans in Barcelona preserves Gothic, Renaissance, and Modern mural paintings that have deteriorated over time. The challenge: how to restore their cultural and artistic value without physically intervening in the fragile works.
We applied WebAR technology to digitally reconstruct the murals, allowing visitors to experience them in their original splendor. The concept combined cultural preservation with an innovative, accessible mobile format.

Today, any visitor can point their smartphone at the chapel walls and instantly see the restored artworks in augmented reality. This immersive layer brings heritage back to life, transforming how culture is preserved and enjoyed.
